Driving To Madrid

Un viaggio in cabriolet attraverso la Spagna intrapreso nel 2019 è stata per Roberto una vera e propria epifania artistica.
Partito con la sua inseparabile cabriolet dalla natia e amata isola della Sardegna, attraversa il mare con un traghetto, e approda sui caldi moli della vibrante Barcellona.
Da qui, con il vento tra i capelli e la musica nell’anima, Roberto prosegue il suo viaggio a bordo della sua decappottabile verso la regale Madrid, dove si esibirà successivamente in una serie di concerti che lo vedranno protagonista al prestigioso Smooth Hot Jazz Festival.
Da questa esperienza di viaggio nasce così il singolo DRIVING TO MADRID – brano Jazz Funk and Smooth Jazz moderato, che sarà incluso nel prossimo album intitolato UNDER THE LEO SIGN going to be released on June 27, 2023.

Le note di DRIVING TO MADRID evocano ancora l’emozione di quel lungo ma meraviglioso viaggio, i paesaggi mutevoli che scorrevano festosi, interrotti solo da soste in pittoreschi borghi senza tempo.
Di quel magico itinerario l’artista conserva ricordi esaltanti che continuano ad ispirarlo artisticamente, come questa composizione nata sotto il cielo spagnolo. A cabriolet trip through Spain undertaken in 2019 was a real artistic epiphany for Roberto.

Leaving with his inseparable cabriolet from his native and beloved island of Sardinia, Roberto crosses the sea by ship, then lands on the warm docks of vibrant Barcelona.

From here with the wind in his hair and music in his soul, Roberto continues his journey aboard his convertible towards real Madrid, where he will perform in a series of concerts that saw him as the protagonist at the prestigious Smooth Hot Jazz Festival. From this travel experience the single DRIVING TO MADRID was born – moderated Jazz Funk and Smooth Jazz tune, which will be included in the upcoming album titled UNDER THE LEO SIGN to be released on June 27, 2023.

The notes of DRIVING TO MADRID still evoke the excitement of that long but wonderful journey, the changing landscapes that flowed festively, interrupted only by stops in picturesque timeless villages.

DRIVING TO MADRID, is a track that reflects Roberto’s predilection for freedom, adventure, as well as his music, which remains however rigorous and refined.

Of that magical itinerary, the artist preserves exhilarating memories that continue to inspire him artistically, like this composition born under the Spanish sky. A refined tribute to Spain and its warm audience, which made that experience unforgettable and full of creativity.
